A project order is a straight purchase — no branding, no minimum commitment beyond the order itself. Fleet rollouts, a new facility, kitting a sales team, operations stocking up, a school or shop outfitting a room.
What changes when the quantity does:
- Price — quantity pricing, quoted against the actual order rather than a published tier
- Lead time — we tell you when it will ship, before you commit
- Color and configuration — the standard range at any quantity; beyond it, options open up
- Delivery — palletized freight, usually, and it needs a loading dock or a lift gate
As a rule of thumb, a project order is $5,000 or more at once — or a repeating buy, every month or two.
