Here it is!  Generation 3 of the incredible, time tested Systainer system of tool, material storage and organization.  Systainer3, also known as SYS3, is the newest generation, bringing new features, and works with the T-Loc line of systainers!

The L in the name stands for long width, which is a step up from the nominal systainer width and is actually just a hair wider than the T-Loc MIDI.

The 187 refers to the height of the Systainer. The Systainer3 L systainers come in three heights and 187 is the middle of the three heights. (137, 187, and 237).  If you are familiar with the T-Loc line of Systainers, this is in-between a T-Loc II and III, just a hair taller than the T-Loc II.  (Boy those of us who are height alignment obsessive are going to go crazy!)

This is the Tool-Systainer, that means it comes outfitted with foam and organization inserts for your tools.  Note, tools don't come with it, we suspect you have some of those already if you are looking at Systainers.

The Systainer3 are reinforced and more stable than the T-Loc, but retain the same foot print and linkable system.  In addition Systainer3 have new front handles, a redesigned labeled slot and a loop for theft tags.

Systainer3 L 187, anthracite, catch and handle is anthracite.
